The series of events will involve Ancona, Cingoli, Jesi, Loreto, Mogliano, Monte San Giusto and Recanati.
Antonio Perticarini, responsible for the organising committee says that this cultural and artistic project will touch seven cities but will also involve most of the region, and in two days will allow to get to know an important part of the territory and to admire the work of a great artist.
Le Marche play an important part in the biography of Lorenzo Lotto. The artist retired in the Sanctuary of Loreto between 1556 and 1557 when he died. The artist has left in the region much of his work, most of it in the original places where it was made for.
For this reason the decision has been taken, of living his 23 pieces of work in the original locations and to create the exhibition in the territory.
